Margo Lederhandler, M.D.
Margo Lederhandler M.D., is a board-certified dermatologist who is fellowship-trained in Mohs micrographic surgery, laser surgery and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Lederhandler graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, received her medical degree from Columbia University, completed her internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where she was awarded “Intern of the Year,” and served as Chief Resident in Dermatology at New York University. She completed a prestigious dual-fellowship program accredited by the ACGME, ACMS, and ASDS in Mohs micrographic surgery and reconstructive surgery, cosmetic dermatologic surgery, and laser surgery under the direction of Roy G. Geronemus, M.D. at the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York.
Dr. Lederhandler is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Dermatology at Weill Cornell Medicine. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, the American College of Mohs Surgery, and the American Society for Laser, Medicine & Surgery. She was inducted into the national Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and Gold Humanism Honor Society. She has authored multiple peer-reviewed articles and textbook chapters and regularly presents her work at national conferences on dermatology and dermatologic surgery. Dr. Lederhandler lives in Westchester with her husband and two children.
