New Dermatologists Office Opening for Nearby Residents in Bedford

Residents around Bedford, New York, will be pleased to know The Westchester Center for Dermatology is opening a new office in nearby Scarsdale. As a result, patients in Bedford will have an easier time scheduling appointments to receive our professional skin care services. The Scarsdale office closely resembles The Westchester Center for Dermatology; they both hire board-certified dermatologists and are equipped with all the latest technology. Dr. David Kriegel excels at performing cosmetic procedures, laser and Mohs micrographic surgery. Besides that, he is the director and founder of The Westchester Center for Dermatology. Dr Kriegel has also served as the Director of the Division of Dermatologic, Skin Cancer and Mohs Surgery at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City for the past 15 years. His specialty is the treatment of skin cancers like basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and malignant melanoma. At Mount Sinai School of Medicine he is an Associate Professor and is the Fellowship Director of its Mohs and Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship. This fellowship program is a highly competitive ACGME accredited program and is one of 35 programs in the country to train Mohs Surgeons. Dr. Kriegel has also authored numerous academic articles and is involved in the teaching of medical students and residents.

As a leading surgeon, Dr. Kriegel cares for patients in the United States, Canada, Europe and South America. To honor his work, the New York Times called him a “Super Doctor.” Besides that, he was also listed in the “Best Doctors” issue of New York Magazine for eight years in row.

We specially train our dermatologists at The Westchester Center for Dermatology to care for countless skin conditions; therefore, they know how to treat minor problems and chronic diseases. We have a team of dermatologists who offer treatment for eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, skin cancer and acne. In addition, they also know how to remove unwanted scars, wrinkles, birthmarks. Patients can also choose to receive Botox injections, Juvederm, Restylane wrinkle injection treatments, Photodynamic Therapy for acne and stretch marks, Fraxel laser for resurfacing and scars, and tightening procedures.
