New Dermatologists Office Opening for Nearby Residents in Bronxville
At The Westchester Center for Dermatology, we are expanding our practice. As a result, we are pleased to announce the opening of our newest office in Scarsdale near the village of Bronxville. Thanks to this exciting new location, residents in the Bronxville community can receive proper skin care without leaving the county. Our dedicated dermatologists treat every condition from acne to skin cancer.
Like other branches, the Scarsdale office uses cutting-edge equipment and hires board-certified dermatologists to care for patients. Our staff and new equipment allows us to treat patients with the same quality of expertise they would receive at The Westchester Center for Dermatology. The director at The Westchester Center for Dermatology, Dr. David Kriegel, has shared that same title for the past 15 years at Mount Sinai Hospital for the Division of Dermatologic, Skin Cancer and Mohs Surgery. He is also Associate Professor at Mount Sinai School of Medicine serving as Fellowship Director for the Mohs and Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship. This fellowship program is one of 35 in the country to train Mohs Surgeons.
In addition to the United States, Dr. Kriegel also cares for patients in Europe, Canada and South America. He was featured in the “Best Doctors” issue of New York Magazine for eight consecutive years and was named a “Super Doctor” by the New York Times. His specialty is the treatment of skin cancers like basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and malignant melanoma.
Our dermatologists are well trained to treat a myriad of skin conditions. As a result, they know how to treat everything from minor skin rashes to chronic problems. A few of the most common problems they treat include acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, warts, herpes and skin cancer. Our dermatologists even specialize in performing cosmetic procedures to treat scars, birthmarks, hair loss, nail disorders and wrinkles. For example they perform Botox injections, Juvederm, Restylane wrinkle injection treatments, Photodynamic Therapy for acne and stretch marks, Fraxel laser for resurfacing and scars, and tightening procedures.
