Dr Kriegel has also served as the Director of the Division of Dermatologic, Skin Cancer and Mohs Surgery at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City for the past 15 years. His specialty is the treatment of skin cancers like basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and malignant melanoma. At Mount Sinai School of Medicine he is an Associate Professor and is the Fellowship Director of its Mohs and Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship. This fellowship program is a highly competitive ACGME accredited program and is one of 35 programs in the country to train Mohs Surgeons. Dr. Kriegel has also authored numerous academic articles and is involved in the teaching of medical students and residents.
